The Rotunda serves afternoon tea seven days a week beginning at 1:30 p.m. A tea experience reservation is necessary to enjoy our daily tea service. Any dietary restrictions must be noted at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

    The Rotunda specializes in evening events including wedding receptions, corporate and convention dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties. Holiday parties are especially beautiful with the four story Neiman Marcus Holiday Tree rising up through the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests an intimate bird's eye view of Union Square.

                                            Downtown SF is looking pretty vacant right now. Dining at the Rotunda is a wonderful treat. I just hope that NM Marcus stays open. I would hate to lose this great place. Food is a great value for the quality. I had the Rotunda burger for the first time and it was fantastic. It even came with nice crispy fries. The service here is always great.

                                            Beautiful setting. We were celebrating a friend’s 90th birthday and they honored our request for a window seat. High Tea is the best in the city - never disapoints!

                                            I have loved and visited The Rotunda for decades. The service and culinary options have always been excellent. They just ‘ got it’ . Maybe it’s this one particular situation, but I am hopeful that it isn’t representational of Saks cutting corners as the new owner. We ordered two flights of champagne ( $48 per person) and the champagne was served in some scary generic wine glasses. Not only was this less than appealing visually, but the champagne went flat very quickly. Such a disappointment since we fly down from Seattle to dine here. I did mention this to our server and he didn’t offer the option of flutes. I didn’t push the issue, but quite frankly, I wouldn’t have had to in the past. The food was all as it has been, but I felt Saks / Neiman’s cut a corner here that may offer insight into the future.
