The Rotunda serves afternoon tea seven days a week beginning at 2:30 p.m. (1:30p.m. Sundays). A tea experience reservation is necessary to enjoy our daily tea service. Any dietary restrictions must be noted at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

    The Rotunda specializes in evening events including wedding receptions, corporate and convention dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties. Holiday parties are especially beautiful with the four story Neiman Marcus Holiday Tree rising up through the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests an intimate bird's eye view of Union Square.

                                                                        Great experience with excellent tea, good food and great service! We were seated by the windows overlooking Union square and that was really a treat!

                                                                        If you want to dine at the Rotunda make your reservation well in advance and specifically ask for a window seat. You overlook Union Square. Easiest access to the Rotunda is on Geary with elevator direct to the restaurant. Enjoy the popovers and your meal. Always happy to dine at the Rotunda for the experience.

                                                                        I always love going to The Rotunda as a special treat, Their signature consommé and popovers (with strawberry butter) is like a Welcome Back "hug". Their service was attentive and consistent. The baked Brie and garlic in phyllo was DELICIOUS, and both of us LOVED our short ribs with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. I will come back, time after time.

                                                                        Katherine was our waiter and she was amazing, as was the entire staff and even the server who gave her a break. I was a little concerned when they moved our reservation time, but all worked out perfectly in the end. What a special day it was to enjoy high tea, champagne, the view and the company. We can't wait to come back.

                                                                        Amazing, delicious food and the service is always first rate. Server was Pam and she was awesome. Consume was yummy, the popovers are to die for and the apple pie and NM chocolate chip cookie….oh my gosh! So good. The petrale sole was tasty too. The ambience is the best! Love the view and the ceiling!

                                                                        I’ve been coming here for afternoon tea. But this time food quality has gone down. Usually popovers are warm as well as the scones. Aside from that, service is always great.
