The Rotunda serves afternoon tea seven days a week beginning at 2:30 p.m. (1:30p.m. Sundays). A tea experience reservation is necessary to enjoy our daily tea service. Any dietary restrictions must be noted at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

The Rotunda specializes in evening events including wedding receptions, corporate and convention dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties. Holiday parties are especially beautiful with the four story Neiman Marcus Holiday Tree rising up through the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests an intimate bird's eye view of Union Square.

The Rotunda can accommodate up to 160 seated guests with a dance floor, 200 seated and 225 standing for evening events. There is a private elevator on Geary Street that takes guests directly to the restaurant after the store is closed.

The hostess was unfriendly on our arrival. Once we got seated, the busses and waiter were professional and welcoming. The food was good. I wish there would be more varieties as everything is sandwiches. The decor could be a little more festive doing the holidays...

Service was phenomenal. Good/tea average for tea nothing outstanding. Disappointed by noise level and overall setting location (visible stains on seats, service wear and inconsistent seating — I’m having tea here for specifically for seating IN the rotunda not in a section that was off to the side the bar crowd

We had a lovely time and enjoyed the high tea very much. The food was delicious except the curry chicken salad on croissant had no flavor and was dry. Everything else was wonderful. The service was excellent. It was a fun splurge.

Amazing service by David! I shared feedback about the burrata salad, and he addressed the issue immediately with thoughtfulness and care. The food was delicious, making for a fantastic holiday Sunday brunch.
