The Rotunda serves afternoon tea seven days a week beginning at 2:30 p.m. (1:30p.m. Sundays). A tea experience reservation is necessary to enjoy our daily tea service. Any dietary restrictions must be noted at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

The Rotunda specializes in evening events including wedding receptions, corporate and convention dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties. Holiday parties are especially beautiful with the four story Neiman Marcus Holiday Tree rising up through the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests an intimate bird's eye view of Union Square.

The Rotunda can accommodate up to 160 seated guests with a dance floor, 200 seated and 225 standing for evening events. There is a private elevator on Geary Street that takes guests directly to the restaurant after the store is closed.

We always have a wonderful dining experience at the Rotunda, starting with the restaurant manager who greets everyone with a warm smile and makes sure everyone is well taken care of, the staff is all professional and attentive and we have enjoyed every meal which has been fresh, delicious and beautifully presented, greatly recommend.

Wonderful experience! We had the afternoon High Tea. Everything was the highest of quality and all the servers were amazing. There was one hostess who was a little off putting but totally forgiven because everything else, the food, the view, the service, the cocktails, the tea, were great.i highly recommend.

Reliable Excellence. I like how I never feel rushed. We brought our friend whom we haven’t seen since before COVID and afternoon tea at the Rotunda was perfect for catching up and gossiping about all our mutual acquaintances. We will be back.

There isn't any other extraordinary dining experience like at The Rotunda. The views, the people-watching, the rotunda ceiling, the service, and the food are beyond perfect.

La Rotonda restaurant, is one of my favorite places to eat in San Francisco. Besides the food and the service which are equally excellent, it is a beautiful place with great history.

Honestly, it is a beautiful spade but service was terrible. One of our forks was dirty and needed changing. My daughter was very polite about it but there was no acknowledgment of apology. There was a hair in one of the soups and no refills on the tea. $69 plus mandatory 20% for 3 halves of sandwich, 5 tiny petit fours, a teeny tiny scone and teeny tiny savoury bite!
