   Have been a few times to this pub and ALWAYS good food, good service and good vibe. Thoroughly recommend!

   As always Royal Oak can impress and deliver. We had our foreign guests from work over the weekend and decided to book Royal Oak. The interior impressed our guest giving the same time feeling of friendly family English pub. Service was outstanding, meals landed quite quickly on our table even tho use seems quite busy on Friday night. Food was delicious and really well presented. Especially tasty were creeps with salmon from the weekend seafood menu. Over 5 stars according to our guests and us.

   We love it and always feel so welcome . The food never disappoints! It is consistently of a very high standard! Thank you for a wonderful evening celebrating my husbands 60th birthday!

   Busy Sunday service. Food was fine and having been here many times before I know they can do much better. Price for two is steep but let’s support these local enterprises.

   If you use the M4 motorway, and have the time, The Royal Oak is well worth the detour for a wonderful lunch. The variety of food on the menu is to be applauded. It is well prepared along with very good presentation. Service is most amiable. The restaurant allows a good deal of natural light into it which makes for a pleasurable environment. Try it! You only live once!

   Excellent food, good service, wonderful ambience. No pressure to leave and, overall, a very relaxing and most enjoyable time. Even gave our friend a surprise as it was his birthday!

   The food as ever was excellent - though this time I think the starters were treated a little as the poor cousin to the main course - I never usually have a desert but this time they were all excellent worth the extra treat
