Christian waited on us and was excellent. He was very accommodating to some of our request, dietary needs and even agreed to ask the Chef to change the type of broth of their Seafood bowl, from a coconut broth to a white wine creamy sauce. We were four and all loved our meal. I had the classic Salmon Trio, which was perfectly cooked ! (Very moist, not dry) My GF had the Sable Fish, simply melt in your mouth. Even the Praws Egg rolls were excellent. The restaurant looked great and even at night had spectacular views ! Very Sad to hear they may be closing this year after 48 years of existence. ....say it isn't so !! Definitely need to go back a couple more times before its gone. Patrick

I’ve been going to the Salmon house for years and have had great experiences. This one however was not good. The service was absolutely awful and the food was what you would expect from Earls or cactus club. I never could of imagined a lobster tail could be so small and absolutely disgusting. They automatically added a 18 percent tip so to pay a tip of over $100 for bad service and food was not a good experience.

We had dinner with a friend to catch up. Sat in a booth where we could look out the tall windows to enjoy beautiful Vancouver. Service was attentive without being disruptive. Food is consistently good. We shared the appetizer sampler which is really meant for 2, but we made it work for the 3 of us. I had the sable fish and was able to substitute the roast potato fingerling with the shrimp and spinach risotto which made me very happy. The others had the salmon trio which they enjoyed except for finding bones in the Chinook pieces. Both guys had the affogato with frangelico and were happy with it. I had the lava cake which was very nice but could have been a bit more lavaly (liquid center). I noticed families and couples dining too.

Celebrating our anniversary and Salmon House made it a wonderful experience! Great table with view, food and champagne were excellent! As well as the tasty dessert they gave you us with a lovely note. All made our anniversary special!

Food was lovely as usual, but we were disappointed by the change in children's menu and the fact it is online only now, with no colouring. Usually our children are welcomed, and we have always had a lovely experience, but it felt different this time, and the service was a little slow.

The food was quite good. Several items were sold out, which was disappointing, but all of what we ordered was good quality, nicely prepared and presented and very tasty. View was amazing.

Lovely dinner tonight to celebrate my dad’s birthday. It’s too bad most people don’t know it’s still Open. Great food especially the chili prawn Spring Rolls and the salmon trio. Always a nice spot for a special occasion
