The Silverspoon menu is seasonal American cuisine, BYOB, presented creatively with market driven, sustainable and heirloom ingredients. Our hope is to provide diners with updated versions of classic regional dishes, contemporary sauces, and an enticing marriage of taste, texture and color. Not trendy, just delicious. Not extravagant, just fairly priced. We have an experienced and friendly staff and a warm bouchon atmosphere.
Alcohol service is BYOB. There is NO CORKAGE FEE.
Our menu items are subject to market and season driven changes, which can effect availability.

                                              Busy afternoon at The Silverspoon! Despite it being a full restaurant, the service was attentive and efficient. I enjoyed the avocado toast - with the egg oden perfectly. The waiter did not rush us through the meal. I always enjoy visiting this restaurant for lunch.

                                              Quite disappointing after having a great meal here a few months ago. My brioche French toast was burned and the service was lacking. Our coffee and water were never refilled. I will not be returning anytime soon.

                                              Reliable neighborhood spot. Charming and intimate space with a nice varied lunch menu. The Rachel and pear and Brie sandwich were very good and service is friendly.

                                              Had lunch there today, and was very disappointed with the food, given the high reviews and ratings. My wife and sister had chicken salad sandwiches, and both said it was the worst chicken salad they ever had. I tasted and agreed Seemed to be just shredded chicken and mayo. No celery or herbs or seasoning or flavor. The portion was almost laughable, only covering about 1/2 of the thick toast it was on. To their credit, they took it off the bill, but still disappointing. My brother in law ordered the short ribs omelet. There must have been a mistake on his order, as there was no detectable beef or mushrooms. It seemed to be a bacon omelet . The soups and desserts were delicious. Service was great and friendly, but the food was way below par. I don't generally give negative reviews but I absolutely don't understand how this spot gets so many good ones. It was the most disappointing meal we've had in quite some time.

                                              We love The Silverspoon. Food is always good and service attentive and never overbearing. We reserved for two, but brought our son, and they were so accommodating… didn’t bat an eye or say a word. Whenever we go to see, drop off or pickup our son at Villanova, we make it to The Silverspoon. Wish we lived closer!

                                              My friends and I were disappointed this time after dining there for many years ( lunch only). My friend’s panzanella salad had little in it but greens and croutons. Not much for $17. I’ve had that before in other places and the bread is soft? My side potatoes to my egg dish were not home fries but more chip-like. We really loved this place but I think we’ll try something else next time. And always the boys level was almost maddening!
