Took my family there for Christmas. A lovely experience that everyone enjoyed . The food was plentiful and excellent and the tea selection extensive. Our server was attentive without being cloying. Definitely a special treat as December carries an added fee, but very worth it if high tea is something you enjoy.

I recently visited for an afternoon tea, and while there were some highlights, there were also a few disappointments. The scones were absolutely excellent—fluffy, buttery, and well baked, easily the best part of the experience. The sandwiches, however, were lackluster. The brisket croissant stood out as the exception, but the rest didn’t leave much of an impression. The petit fours were another letdown, as they were excessively sweet, even for someone with a strong sweet tooth. Overall, the experience had its moments, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Wonderful experience. The staff were accommodating to food allergies and request to change tables. Nice time. Would return for a cocktail and live music at the hotel bar.
