   As a regular visitor I have enjoyed the food here. This time, a fixed price lunch with a friend, was disappointing value-for money. While I appreciate that they offer a 'value' meal, the portions were ludicrously small. I scallop, 2 inches of octopus and 2 teaspoons of avocado puree on a cold plate, followed by 2 tablespoons of risotto was tasty but inadequate. The pudding saved us from starvation! Nevertheless, tasty, pleasantly served, but in a very cold dining room. The team can do much better than this. Don't be put off but be warned!

   Excellent service and high quality food, with little extra touches that made it a special experience. Just a shame that the restaurant was so quiet as this affected the ambience a little, but we were looked after very well indeed!

   Lovely restaurant, attentive staff and very good food and wine. We enjoyed lunch here for a birthday treat and will certainly return.

   We were treated like royalty and the food was Michelin star quality. Would recommend to anyone.

   Excellent service and beautifully prepared food. The restaurant is quiet, within a charming building. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food is outstanding.

    Food was excellent, and both the wine and table service matched. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines served with each course. We opted for an early 6pm booking midweek; it was very quiet and we were the only guests at the restaurant for the duration of our meal.
