The Washington House Restaurant is open for indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) dining plus made to order takeout! Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner, a casual drink in our historic bar, fresh air while dining on our patio or a light snack before a show next door at Sellersville Theater, you will be pleased with our eclectic menu and our warm hospitality. Our guests especially enjoy the carefully chosen wine and beer lists and year round calendar of events including beer and wine tastings, specialty food nights and holiday menus.

    We have been to the Washington House twice in the past 3 months. Once for dinner, and once for lunch. Both experiences were excellent. Visits to other establishments over this same time period have been disappointing. Meals at these establishments were "okay" and prices were high, so we expected something special. Not at the Washington House. Food and prices are good. The Washington House offers many choices and each has a special touch - maybe the sauce, maybe the sides, maybe the entree choice. The special today was Chilean sea bass with risotto, and the other meal we had was salmon and shrimp, with Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer. All food was prepared well and the sauces were light and very tasty. We like to order something that we might not prepare at home and we were not disappointed.

    I’d give 10 stars if I could. What a hidden gem in PA! We had a Christmas lunch date there today. The decor was bright and cozy, food was outstanding and service was prompt and perfectly done.

    Everything was wonderful! The service, the food and the ambiance were fantastic! The baked goods were made in-house and so delicious. Our server, Victoria was amazing. She was attentive, gave us the best recommendations for menu items and was extremely kind. We will definitely be back!

    We visited the Wash house after a shlow at the theater. Seated right away as we had reservations. Our dining room was decorated very pretty for Christmas. Also very crowded. It got so loud it wasn't the quiet, intimate visit that we had expected. I had the mushroom reuben. Unfortunately only ate half as it didn't have any of the flavors of a classical reuben.

    Exceptional gourmet courses and wonderful staff. Highly recommended to have dinner prior to a show at the Sellersville Theater next door.
