The Washington House Restaurant is open for indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) dining plus made to order takeout! Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner, a casual drink in our historic bar, fresh air while dining on our patio or a light snack before a show next door at Sellersville Theater, you will be pleased with our eclectic menu and our warm hospitality. Our guests especially enjoy the carefully chosen wine and beer lists and year round calendar of events including beer and wine tastings, specialty food nights and holiday menus.

    Love the atmosphere and friendly staff at the historic Washington House. Attentive service, good drinks, good food. Also like the cozy round tables in the front section of the restaurant.

    Our 2nd visit. Our party of four enjoyed a fabulous meal. Upon arrival, we were offered two seating options after noticing an open booth in the bar area. The circular booth in a nearby dining room was cozy but we wanted a livelier atmosphere in the bar area and went with that. Great service with attention to detail. Warm, delicious rolls, martinis and then shared salads. Each meal was delivered timely. Attended a show at the theatre that night and stayed at the hotel with breakfast included. We are already planning a return visit. Highly recommend.

    Good food, great service! After informing our server that we were going to the show at the Sellersville, she made sure our entrees arrived quickly. We’ll definitely be back!

    Nice to go to the Washington House right prior to a show at the Sellersville Theater. The venue was decorated for Christmas, which helped the ambiance. Even though it was a very crowded night, our waitress did her best in serving us. Had the fried Brussell sprouts as an appetizer. It was a large serving and was very tasty. We both had the 8oz tenderloin which was cooked to order. Overall, no issues with this dinner.

    Food was excellent. Service a little slow in the kitchen. It took 90 minutes to have brunch. Needed to hurry to finish before leaving to go to the show. A little pricey.

    This was our first experience at the Washington House, but it will NOT be our last! We can find no fault whatsoever with the service nor with the cuisine. It was a thoroughly delightful experience.

    We have been to the Washington House twice in the past 3 months. Once for dinner, and once for lunch. Both experiences were excellent. Visits to other establishments over this same time period have been disappointing. Meals at these establishments were "okay" and prices were high, so we expected something special. Not at the Washington House. Food and prices are good. The Washington House offers many choices and each has a special touch - maybe the sauce, maybe the sides, maybe the entree choice. The special today was Chilean sea bass with risotto, and the other meal we had was salmon and shrimp, with Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer. All food was prepared well and the sauces were light and very tasty. We like to order something that we might not prepare at home and we were not disappointed.
