The Washington House Restaurant is open for indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) dining plus made to order takeout! Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner, a casual drink in our historic bar, fresh air while dining on our patio or a light snack before a show next door at Sellersville Theater, you will be pleased with our eclectic menu and our warm hospitality. Our guests especially enjoy the carefully chosen wine and beer lists and year round calendar of events including beer and wine tastings, specialty food nights and holiday menus.

    Duck was terribly tough, difficult to cut. Dessert was apple crisp and delicious Coffee was lukewarm but replaced. We dine here a few times a year but the last 2 times have been disappointing

    Excellent overall experience! Food was outstanding for a prefix menu on Valentine’s Day. Great cocktails and service. Highly recommend!

    We went for their Valentine's Day dinner. Several choices for an appetizer and for the entree. Food & service were excellent, but pricey.

    We have been to the Washington house many times. I was very disappointed that I didn’t not get a booth in the bar area per my conversation with a representative from the restaurant. She called me weeks before the date to double check that I would have enough time to make it to the show at the theater and said they could honor my request for a booth if I changed my reservation time. My wife and I had our first date in one of those booths so it was important to me that we get a booth and I was very disappointed we had to sit a a makeshift table right in an aisle instead. Food is very good.

    Arrived a few minutes before our reservation on Valentine's Day. We were greeted and seated immediately in a lovely small dining room where one could actually carry on a conversation. The four course prefix that was offered included many interesting choices. All the food we had was excellent....beef carpaccios, scallops, salad, salmon, pork chop and dessert sampler. Service by Natalie was outstanding. She was attentive, professional and didn't rush us. Drinks were good and reasonably priced compared to some other restaurants. We willl surely be returning in the near future! Thank you Washington House.

    When ever my wife and I go to Sellersville theater we go to the Washington House. We live in NE PA about 2 1/2 hours away so we expect a good dinner in a nice setting before the show starts. Food wise, the Washington House delivers. Server wise it is just average. Case in point, I hate tracking down a waitperson to get needed items like another glass of wine, a refill on coffee, etc. Our past experience of average service is the norm at the Washington House. I suspect that finding experienced servers is a challenge for the restaurant and/or it is part of the restaurants business plan to have server to tables ratio high. With that all written, give the restaurant a try the food is great. JohnyMac Susquehanna, PA.
