Outside seating is limited and will be based on first come first server basis and during high volume days limited time duration may apply.We are providing both Indoor, outdoor seating and takeout. History has been written inside the walls of the Wharf, with its 1790's style architecture featuring original wood columns and beams that are charred black from a Civil War fire. Since 1971, satisfied diners have been heading to The Wharf in Old Town for whole Maine lobster, local soft shell crabs and prime steaks. The restaurant has recently been renovated and remodeled and the menu updated to include many contemporary seafood items along with their traditional Chesapeake Bay creations.

The atmosphere was great! Cozy intimate. Soft music would have been nice. The waiter was excellent, attentive, patient, well groomed, paid attention to detail, checked on us constantly. It was my partners birthday 🥳 celebration and we enjoyed it immensely. I have already started recommending it and we will be back😁

Caesar salad was lacking parm cheese and not worth it. Entree of stuffed shrimp was a little disappointing.

My group of three had a wonderful dining experience at the Wharf. Our waiter, Diego, was marvelous. Our seats were upstairs and the dining room was full--and very quiet. We'll be back. Again, our server, Diego, was simply outstanding.

We love it here… last night was not a good night for service. Over an hour and a half for food- waiter brought some else’s meals; people who arrived 30 minutes after us with same size party left 30 minutes before us. A gratuity was still placed on the bill. I will give the manager kudos for providing some dessert (not for the whole table) and discounting the wine, but with a bill over $400 for six people- it should not have taken over 2 hours when the other tables were empty.

Had the Rockfish special with crab imperial, mashed potatoes, and sautéed spinach with Virginia strawberry mojito. I had the oysters for appetizer. Absolutely delicious meal, perfect temperature, with a mouth-watering flavor! Staff was very personable. The only complaint was the aggressive bees while sitting outside, but even the bees couldn’t keep me from enjoying the meal. Seems like the bees were trying to get a taste too! Will come back again!

Wonderfully prepared sole and salmon were delicious.Pino Grecia was crisp and at correct temperature. Very helpful for my disabled wife. Thank you

We had a GREAT experience celebrating our anniversary!! Melissa took wonderful care of us & the team of servers supporting her did a 5-star job!! The cocktails were balanced, well made & quite tasty. Food was freshly prepared & the portion sizes were adequate. Highly recommend The Wharf!!
