We pride ourselves on using top quality cooking with seasonal ingredients, offering an exquisite but accessible food menu.

Our international wine list is courtesy of Pedro Borges, always attentive to new wine discoveries. The wine list offers great value for money and showcases a wide variety of wines from different regions of the globe.

Very relaxing lunch venue. Menu offered interesting choices and food was very good. Staff very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Would definitely go back again.

Unforgettable experience, service was brilliant. My wife has accidenty splashed some sause on her dress and in less than minute waiter brought her wipes with some liquid to clean it up. It worked well and she was smiling again .

long been our favourite restaurant. not cheap but great value and outstanding service and very good food. they have slightly lost their edge lately i feel, as the food is not quiet as sharp as it was. not so long ago, we thought they would get a Michelin star but now i think the variety is diminished and the menu is a little less adventurous and the wine by the glass list is not as inviting as before. Nonetheless, the standard is still high and maybe its just a post Covid dip; fingers crossed, were going again next week.

This was my third visit to The White Onion, and it was as superb in all respects as my last two visits. The service is second to none, the courses were all beautifully cooked, and my companion was impressed by the care taken over providing her with gluten-free food. It really can’t be faulted and I’m really looking forward to my next visit in two weeks.

Delightful restaurant serving excellent food and excellent service. Restaurant goes the extra mile with charming little touches when they know you are celebrating something special. A firm favourite over several years with my family for those occasions with familiar faces in the restaurant team.

Took the Mrs here for date night. We had great service from happy staff. I had venison which was really nice and she the lamb Wellington, also nice. Will be returning here for date night again
