Crispy scallops are excellent. Savoy is the best server. Ask for her.

Trip advisor has it at 33 but I would give it first place for Norfolk restaurants. Bistro is in the name and boy does it deliver. Local seafood is abundant throughout the menu but of course they offer all the basics. Steak, fish and poultry are all there. I went with meat loaf that they boast about. With out hesitation I can say it was the best meatloaf I’ve ever had, sorry mom. I finished dinner with a homemade apple crisp. Btw all the desserts were made in house. Great wine selection and the bar was jumping. If you are in Norfolk this is a must stop.

Ended up eating at the bar since I was solo. Sat with what we're obviously regulars and had a great time. The bartenders were on top of everything, happy to get your meal ordered, top offs on the spot, and checking up regularly. Wednesday night is steak night. It was a nice steak, maybe not the best deal, but beef isn't cheap anywhere anymore and according to their menu this was grass fed. Say hi to Rob behind the bar.

Savoy was our server. She is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and has a great personality. She was attentive without being obtrusive. We had a wonderful evening.

We had a bad experience. We requested a booth so we could sit next to each other. They sat us at the table for four in a tight corner with plenty of other tables and booths open never had guest seated in them for the 2 1/2 hours we were there. Our reservation was at 7 PM. We didn’t even place our order for dinner until 815. The service was slow. we ordered a salad from the menu and they gave us a different salad when we brought it up to the waiter he said he and the kitchen weren’t aware of the menu change. I find it hard to believe we were the first one to order this haystack salad. We didn’t get our dinner until 850. We ordered a ribeye steak, medium. They served us a blue (raw) steak and the meatloaf. At this point it was too late. I didn’t even want to eat. I had enough we took the food to go. I was very disappointed. I was so excited to go and try this restaurant. What a disappointment?

Italian wine dinner was excellent. Really enjoyed the pairings and great food. Looking forward to another wine dinner soon-great value for the cost.
