Nestled in the heart of midtown Manhattan’s east side, a stone’s throw from New York City’s finest hotels and Grand Central Station, Toscana49 offers a serene and elegant retreat from the bustle of the city. We offer classic Italian dishes, and fresh homemade pastas that are made daily in our own kitchen, using time-honored traditional methods. Our welcoming staff is ready to assist you in choosing wines from our extensive wine list, introducing you to our specials, which change daily to include the freshest ingredients available from local markets, or mixing you the perfect cocktail.

We are open lunch and dinner seven days a week and serve a special brunch on weekends.

                                                                            Took my mother-in-law and 9 year old daughter to dinner after seeing the Rockettes! Lovely atmosphere, lots of service, delicious food- my mother-in-law said the lasagna was the best she’s ever had!

Food was superb, dinner was nice & relaxing wait staff are all so friendly but not in an imposing way. Dinner pricing is very reasonable would definitely visit again when in NYC!

                                                                            The food was ok not great but the worst part was the service. The waiter didn’t engage with us. He forgot our appetizer, and didn’t explain which wines were available by glass. He didn’t bring the dessert menu or offer any. We ordered a cannoli which wasn’t great and it was $14. Oh well. We won’t go there again. It’s a shame because the ambiance was great. I visited this place with my two sons (25&21) as a Christmas gift. Very disappointed.

                                                                            Our 2nd time here. The food is amazing and the portions are large. The staff was very courteous. We will definitely be back in the future.
