Nestled in the heart of midtown Manhattan’s east side, a stone’s throw from New York City’s finest hotels and Grand Central Station, Toscana49 offers a serene and elegant retreat from the bustle of the city. We offer classic Italian dishes, and fresh homemade pastas that are made daily in our own kitchen, using time-honored traditional methods. Our welcoming staff is ready to assist you in choosing wines from our extensive wine list, introducing you to our specials, which change daily to include the freshest ingredients available from local markets, or mixing you the perfect cocktail.

We are open lunch and dinner seven days a week and serve a special brunch on weekends.

                                                                            The staff was very supportive and friendly. The food was good, but now outstanding. We were upstairs, and the noise level was very low so it was ideal for us to have a nice conversation. Enjoyed the evening very much

                                                                            We celebrated my nephew’s birthday at Toscana49 on a cold January Saturday. Everything was amazing, from the flexibility of our host, to Marcello our bartender, to Clay our server. The seafood stew and veal specials were out of this world! Also noteworthy: all the staff seemed genuinely cheerful and friendly, which isn’t always the case in Manhattan!
