   Great Easter lunch. Only issue is the pour of the liquor... it was very chintzy.

   great cream of crab soup , as always the octopus salad : the sauce was too spicy and seemed to overwhelm the dish Lemon Ricotta Ravioli was very good

   Good neighborhood restaurant for lunch or dinner. Lovely atmosphere and staff is very gracious and griendly. Highly recommend.

   We only freed a variety of meals. Hamburgers, Reuben Sandwich, grilled fish. All delicious!

   The cod was the best as were the scallops. We were not rushed at all which was the best part.

   We come here for dinner whenever we are in the area. I must admit that tonight the service was not up to the usual standards. We will give them another chance when we are in the area again. Hopefully, tonight was just a one off.

    Celebrating a "milestone" birthday--just the two of us. Started our afternoon with Oyster Happy Hour and cocktails in the bar. As always--an outstanding and fun choice! The Wellfleet oysters were small, but delicious! We then moved to the dining room for our leisurely dinner and decided to try some new items this time! The Birthday Boy had Steak Frites, cooked to perfection. I had the salmon with farro, also cooked to perfection. What drew me to the dish was the braised romaine, one of my all-time favorites to make at home--but the entire meal was wonderful. NEITHER ONE OF US LEFT ANY MORSEL ON OUR PLATE--which is unlike us. We had skipped lunch, so this was our only meal and we enjoyed every calorie! LOL Our server was kind enough to not only make a great suggestion for a cocktail, but also brought us a complimentary dessert to help us celebrate. The Strawberry Rhubarb compote with ice cream was a perfect finish--not too sweet with a delightful tang. Paired with a quiet ambience that allowed our aging ears to actually hear each other and share our scintillating conversation (another LOL) it was a perfect meal, perfect time together.
