Such a fun event. Great for the whole family. We were able to enjoy a meal while the kids made gingerbread men in the next room. Also, the kid's room had lots of kid friendly food options. The Mai Tai bar had lots of fun choices as well.

Disappointed. My family and I have dined at Trader Vic’s in Atlanta and DC for at least 40 years. This evenings meal bears no resemblance to the meals we’ve relished over the years. The menu changes may have been to adapt to changing tastes but those who enjoy good food were not in mind with these changes. The food was lukewarm. What has replaced the “Trader Vic’s Rice” is better suited to common corner Chinese takeout. We won’t be back and will not recommend.

The volunteer historian was excellent. He sat with us at our table and gave us background history on Vic Bergeron (not sure of the spelling) and the history of Trader Vic’s and Tiki. Then walked us around the entire restaurant and pointed out things. He carried an iPad and showed us historical photos and shots from movies that were filmed in the restaurant. It was so enjoyable. He’s a volunteer so no fee, we gave him a tip.

The food was very delicious, the service was outstanding. Our server Samantha was really great, she was attentive and made excellent recommendations from the menu for us to order. The atmosphere was cozy and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening out.
