Chef Gaetano Ascione brings international flair to Indiana. A native of Italy, and fluent in five languages, Chef Gaetano Ascione brings international flair to Munster, with experience, teaching, owning restaurants, consulting, and running hotels on four continents – Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. He served both Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan as Chef de Cuisine at the Georgetown Club in Washington, D.C., and served as Executive Chef for the Inaugural Banquet for President Nelson Mandela in South Africa.

He is a member of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs 1248-1950, the American Culinary Federation, and the Gruppo Virtuale Cuochi Italiani. Ascione was a finalist in the “Chef of the Year” competition at the World Gourmet Summit in Singapore in 2001.

The service is exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who make you feel welcomed and cared for. The ambiance, enhanced by modern Art Nouveau design, is both elegant and inviting—perfect for any occasion. The menu, crafted by the internationally renowned Chef Gaetano Ascione, is executed to perfection by the head chef, his talented protégé. Chef Ascione’s career spans four continents and includes notable achievements, such as serving as Chef de Cuisine at Washington D.C.’s Georgetown Club for Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, and as Executive Chef for Nelson Mandela’s inaugural banquet. While the pricing is on the higher side, the exceptional service more than compensates, making the experience feel truly priceless. First timer. Everything was excellent. The Chef came out to make sure the food was done correctly and the service was sufficient. Great wine selection too. I’ll be back

Our server, Dominic, made it a fantastic dinner! He was attentive and in a great mood even though he was working on Christmas Eve. He made suggestions and seemed to know the menu very well. Other servers stopped by the table, as did the chef and the manager to make sure we were happy. There was a surprising number of guests in the restaurant that night and they still made time for us. The Fra Gee Lay was delicious and the leg lamp glass was hilarious! It was my first Christmas Eve without my whole family home and I wasn't sure what to expect. Dominic helped make the night a lot of fun and we had a great time! The food was outstanding - I have been to Fiori many times but it was my son's first time as he lives in Ft. Wayne. He raved about the food and said I didn't do the place justice even though I told him how good it was. My only wish would have been for more holiday decorations. The other side restaurant was very festive, but on the Fiori side you almost didn't know there as a holiday going on.

The menu selection was creative. I enjoyed my cocktail; it was very creative, however, my husband had an old fashioned; it was disappointing. The chef came out to greet us, the staff was friendly, and presentation was beautiful. Unfortunately our meal was not up to expectations. Our appetizer was the charcuterie board; although delicious the meats were chewy; they needed to be sliced thinner to enjoy the flavor. My entrée was delicious, however, my spouse had the steak; it was disappointing. We enjoyed our desserts. Our experience was very pleasant, however, wasn't worth the price.

Friendly & professional staff. Excellent service. Impressive food & drink menu. Our food was delicious. A great but a bit pricy dining experience.

Christmas lunch with longtime girlfriends. The food was good; the dining room was beautiful; and the lunch special was perfect.
