This was our first time back in almost a decade, and the food was still great. The service was a little slow, and there were a lot more kids around this time, but overall, the experience was enjoyable. The sashimi combo was fresh and was a great value for 9 large pieces of sashimi, 2 nilgiri, and any roll (we got the flaming Del Sol roll, of course). The chicken teriyaki was perfectly cooked with a well-balanced sauce that wasn't too salty like other places. My wife ordered two additional rolls since there were three of us, and both rolls were delicious. We plan to come back when we visit Tucson again in the future, and we highly recommend it!

Food wasn’t bad, but this is not what I would consider to be a high end restaurant. The tables were sticky and you can smell the smoke from the smoking session in the casino. I got the old fashioned and it wasn’t good at all. The service was pretty good.

everything was great except the music was way too loud. we asked them to lower it twice but they never did. We just wanted to have a dessert, relax and talk

Ume is a terrific restaurant. It was my 2nd visit and unlike the first time, the service was fantastic and quick and efficient. The food was great (calamari bits, appetizer sampler, kung pao shrimp-good but way too many carrots-and shrimp chow mein). We were early for our reservation but seated right away. Will definitely be back!

The service received from the bartender (Michael) was top notch!! There was a group I was six that was waiting for a table, and the hostess had gone back to arrange it. She was gone quite a while, and MICHAEL came out from behind the bar and told us that he could service us at the bar and do it right away. MICHAEL took our orders for both food and beverage immediately and both were there in no time at all. During the entire time we were there he had a smile on his face and was very helpful. We’d go back if it were just for him!
