Urban Grub is a casual fine dining bar and eatery located in a renovated carwash in Nashville’s iconic 12 South district.

The design of the restaurant features a rustic elegance, filled with custom woodwork, stone fireplaces and rounded booths tucked in intimate corners. Urban Grub offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a combination of the two in the beer garden, accompanied a view of the restaurant’s meat curing room, as well as a covered gazebo for larger parties.

From the inviting indoor-outdoor atmosphere to the elevated Southern cuisine of fresh seafood, house-made charcuterie, and prime dry-aged steaks, the experience is unforgettable.

We come to Urban Grub every December with our family, and as usual, it did not disappoint. Every item of food we ordered was fantastic. You honestly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Some items that especially stand out are the pork chop, the Waygo skirt steak, and the scallops. There was a lobster green curry stew on the specials menu that was out of this world. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough for the amazing service and consistently fantastic food.

Went for the brunch buffet and it was spectacular! Lots of fresh seafood! The bread basket is to die for! Those muffins and biscuits!!! AJ was our waitress and she was awesome! 10/10

It was just not great. I have been in the past and always good but it this time seemed sloppy, and the food was not great. Our server was not the best as her attitude was bad. The presentation of the food was less than desirable. Felt like I was eating at a cheap bque place.

We had such a great night! My family and I went to dinner for my birthday. It was great! The service was wonderful and the food was perfect. Urban Grub is a go to for my husband and me, and it was equally as great for our kids! Thank you for making my night wonderful.

We always enjoy Urban Grub w friends when in town. It’s lively, service is top notch and food is mostly delicious. We especially loved the pork shank and shrimp & grits last night. The hot (complementary) biscuits and rolls are ridiculously great. Lovely cocktails. Ali was a wonderful server. The only ‘miss’ last night fr the new head chef was the green lobster curry. Two at our table got this and if there were pieces of lobster or other fish in there they were minuscule. It was an expensive entree and they need to do better on that one.
