Uva Rossa means 'red grape' in Italian. This wine bar specializes in wine and small, shareable plates with a varied selection of cheeses, bruschettas and pizza. In addition to full portion dining and our daily blackboard specials. Italian born chef/owner Antonio Bove creates outstanding Northern and Southern Italian dishes with a twist! Featuring recipes from his childhood. Amongst the restaurant's favorites are his meatballs topped with a tasty parmigiano sauce and of course his infamous eggplants balls, which are delicious and perfect for vegetarians.

There is an extensive wine list and we are now proudly featuring the first wine on tap in Long Island.

The restaurant has an old world, rustic feel with lots of exposed brick, stucco and wrought iron, and a romantic flair with candles everywhere.

What a great Valentine’s night experience! A well thought out special menu, complimentary sparkling wine to start the night and a rose for every lady at the end! The food was incredible (Bibb salad and sea bass were standouts!), and the attentive and very professional staff was up to the challenge of a Friday night Valentine’s. Well crafted drinks and next level desserts were amazing. Literally can’t find a fault with the evening - just the way both guest and restaurant want a Valentine’s night to be! Keep this place in mind for next year - or any special occasion!

Great place. Great vibes . The Valentine specials were fabulous. The pink rose cocktail was delicious. Sea bass, great flavor and perfectly cooked. Love the eggplant meatballs. We come here often and never disappointed

I love UVA Rossa so much. Never disappoints. Service amazing. Miguel our waiter was super. The chicken parm is amazing.

Lovely warm & rustic ambiance on a cold winter night. My request for a table in a corner away from the bar was honored with a smile. The Service was friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. We were a party of 4 and had a most pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. Thank you!

Antonio the chef/owner always has delicious dishes coming out! Miquel our waiter for years always on point! Great atmosphere, food etc!!

Decided on trying UVA Rossa on a recommendation from a coworker. The restaurant was very nice! Small and cozy! The service was excellent! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and gave us some solid recommendations. Drinks were on the pricy side, but very tasty! Apps we ordered the spidini and the eggplant. Both were very good! Mains- I ordered the spaghetti and broccoli rabe with sausage crumbles. It was very salty, I love my cheese and I did add a spoons of grated cheese. It was a little too salty for my liking. My wife ordered the skirt steak. It was good, but over cooked and a little dry. My friend ordered the gnocchi and said he didn’t like it. He barely ate his dish. His wife ordered a different gnocchi dish and she cleaned her plate. Said it was awesome. All in all it was a nice night out, and I would def go back and try it again.
