We had a great experience. We went fir our anniversary, first time there. We had Tristan as a server & he was on the ball. The filet mignon eggrolls were probably our favorite. The steak was cooked perfectly & the mustard sauce was no joke. The lobster bisque was out of this world (no skimping on the lobster) For entrees, we had the Salmon Imperial & Lobster Pasta. There were no leftovers to be seen. I mean, it probably looked like we licked the plates clean (we didn't, but still).

We were a party of 6. The waiter was incredibly patient, personable, and kind. The salads were huge and delicious! Three of us had the short ribs—- amazing! Two had the salmon— each one had one of the two salmon options. Also delicious! The sixth one had the Harvest Salad with chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. The malbec was delicious.. The one and only critique is that the dessert menu was not as interesting as the regular menu—- they were the standard options you get everywhere. But overall, a wonderful experience!

On a chilly winter day, this is the place for lunch. Sitting in the fireplace room, no music to interrupt conversation, delicious food, friendly service enjoy the company of a friend or partner in peace. The wait staff were excellent as was the food!

Highly recommend dining at Valley Green Inn. The food was excellent and our waiter, Tristan, was very friendly and outgoing. Felt at home here. The restaurant is vintage and has history in our area of Philadelphia, and I love it! I’m embarrassed to say I’ve been living here for over 35 years now and have never dined at the restaurant. Boy was I missing out! haha! Go there asap! You won’t be sorry.
