Vernon's Speakeasy is the only speakeasy restaurant in New Mexico! We feature exquisite steaks and seafood and American cuisine in a superb dining atmosphere.     Everything about this experience was absolutely top notch, and I mean everything. The reservation and entry process was easy and fun. The entire staff was so friendly and committed to making the experience what you hoped for. The ambience was perfect, from the lighting, to the live music playing softly in the background. The drinks and food were nothing short of being spectacular and perfectly on point. Our host/waitress was so friendly, and attentive/on point, which made the entire experience. This place has the experience and quality down perfectly. Will absolutely be back every time we go through ABQ.

    By far one of the best restaurants we have ever visited. The food was amazing, the staff so friendly and present. We were lucky enough to sit right in front of the live music playing that night and had a fantastic time.

    The service was fantastic they made us feel special. Our seating area was as requested but better. Located by the music which they played enjoyable! The care for us and our comfort was really noted, thanks.

    The great- I have to first say our server. She was attentive without hovering, polished and knowledgeable. We ordered New York sours and they were some of the better we have had! The Calamari was yummy, so much that I’m fairly certain we finished even the crumbs. Arriving thru the password, hidden door was super cute but not overly cheesy. The Ok- our wedge salad was your slightly under average wedge. A tad overpriced for nothing special, but was edible. My husband and I share most everything when we go out so it was nice to have it offered to be split on two plates. Complimentary bread & oil, good but nothing to write home about. Some pieces were even a touch stale/hard vs some very fluffy and soft. The not so great- our prime rib (which while our bill was just under $300 we were still charged the $10 to share the entré…almost laughable) was more like a thick sirloin with no flavor, the au jus as well… the accompanying vegetables I cannot believe were plated and served, they were most definitely a pile of sad mush. The truffle fries were freezer burned frozen fries with a hint of truffle essence sprinkled on top. We each ordered two scallops and they were rubbery and overly coated with some odd sauce. I didn’t finish maybe a quarter of my half of the meal. Overall a great concept with a pretty awful main course experience. Not worth the price point without serious changes from the kitchen.

    Always great, but this was probably our best overall experience at Vernon's. Service was top notch and steaks were great - recommend the Los Ranchos Star! Also, were seated in dining room next to members bar, and ambience was great. For dessert, highly recommend the salted caramel cheesecake!
