Welcome to Vinnie’s Steak House and Tavern, the premiere destination for fine dining in the Triangle since 1987. Independently owned and operated, Vinnie’s proudly serves Certified Angus Beef in a variety of cuts and sizes. Vinnie’s also offers the freshest local seafood available, classic Italian fare, Farmer’s Market vegetables and homemade desserts.

Our display wine cellar houses an extensive selection of wines from around the world and serves as a centerpiece to our intimate and elegant dining room. White linen, vintage leather chairs and sparkling crystal will set the mood for a more than memorable dining experience, no matter what the occasion. For those truly exceptional occasions, Vinnie’s has three private rooms to host special events for groups of 12-30 and banquet packages are available for groups of 16 or more.

Se il tavolo non e ancora pronto potere atendere al bar sorseggiando qualche drink. Ce la comodita di parcheggio davanti. Sicuramente tornero.

                                                                                                                  I did write on a reservation that it was my 55 birthday and our 10th anniversary. Nothing mentioned by any staff on our special night. I was disappointed as we go to Vinny‘s quite often during the year.

                                                                                                                  From the moment we walked through the door until we left after dinner, we felt completely cared for! The food was superb, and the service from Jason was even better. Even the chef came to the table to check on us. It was the kind of experience I would expect when paying Vinnie's prices. We will definitely do it again!

                                                                                                                  The steaks were some of the best we have ever had anywhere. They were very juicy and tender. All of our sides were tasty and fresh. Our waiter, Mike, was fantastic and everyone was very friendly. The ambience is also very nice!

                                                                                                                  Food was great, but not as good as expected. The pork chop was drier than wanted. The lamb chops were great! We will be ordering the prime rib and lamp chops again, but will skip the pork chop.

                                                                                                                  Staff was pleasantly helpful. Food was absolutely to die for. The only issue I had was the tables were too close together causing it very difficult to hear the other people at my table. Other than that the place was very impressive.

                                                                                                                  Best onion soup that both my wife and I have ever had. Scott, our waiter, was very attentive without being intrusive. Likewise, the waiter who served our water was also very attentive without being intrusive. Caesar salad made with anchovies and Scott advised me that I could get extra whole anchovies which I did. We have eaten at some great steak houses across the country, including St. Elmo’s in Indianapolis, and Vinnies ranks with the best. I hope that it’s obvious, but I’ll say it anyway, our steaks were excellent. Finally we were celebrating our 58th wedding anniversary and on our way out the hostess, to whom we had not mentioned our anniversary, wished us a happy anniversary-now that’s a sign of a great restaurant.

                                                                                                                  We were so pleased to eat at Vinnie’s on October 26th. The last time was in 1989! I came for the eggplant Parmesan which I so fondly remembered. It was as delicious as it was then. Our waiter Jason suggested the apple fritters with house made cinnamon ice cream for dessert. We are so glad he did ! What a treat. We will certainly be back when we are in Raleigh. Martha & Paul Fogleman Hickory NC
