Had the Elk, wife had the beef filet both were top notch. The app with the deviled eggs, ham biscuits sausage and pickled veggies also on point!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Vintage Tavern in Suffolk, VA, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, with portions that were more than generous. The garden view added a lovely touch to the ambiance, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. However, what truly stood out during our visit was the remarkable service provided by our waitress. She was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my aging parents were comfortable. She took her time to explain the menu options thoroughly, brought extra napkins to accommodate their needs, and was keenly aware of their loss of dexterity. Her thoughtful actions helped alleviate any potential issues, making the dining experience smooth and pleasant for everyone. Her kindness and patience made a significant difference, and we left the restaurant feeling grateful for her exceptional service. I highly recommend the Vintage Tavern not only for its delicious food and beautiful garden view but also for the outstanding care and attention provided by their staff.

The salmon sorghum special was very good and prepared well. The shrimp appetizer was prepared well. Service was excellent….Misti was great and attentive.

It took 15 minutes to have water served and drink order taken in the bar while waiting for our reserved table in the dining room. There was an empty reserved table for 4 in the bar that had already been set up with ice water with no one seated there. So the “ghost guests” were served before us. I asked for dining room seating by fireplace in my reservation and it was given to a party that arrived after us. Wedge salad was heavy on lettuce and very light on all other ingredients including dressing. Birthday celebration treat was a scant serving of freezer-burned ice cream. Waited 20 minutes after finishing our meals for the bill to be presented. This was the service received when there were only 10 guests total seated in the dining room.

Amazing experience. The Filet mignon was the BEST I’ve ever had. My sincere compliments to the chef. 10/10 experience would highly recommend for anyone!

The pulled pork sandwich and burger were very good. The salad special was well prepared and crisp. The chili was tasty and a nice change from some of soups offered. Service was outstanding…Misti is attentive and pleasant. She does a great job.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Vintage Tavern. We were promptly greeted and seated when we arrived. The restaurant was busy that night but we still received great service. Our food was delicious and we will definitely be back.
