                                                                                                                                                    We had a great Southern meal! Our server was excellent. We eat later in the day and while they had sold out of some items on the menu our server was up front about this and very apologetic. Excellent value for the money. We tried the fried okra something we never had before and it was delicious! The portion sizes were huge and very tasty. Try the peach cobbler for dessert, it was great! This is definitely a restaurant to visit when in Charleston.

                                                                                                                                                    Our go-to for great southern comfort food. The fried chicken and collard greens are family favorites. Our server, Anthony, was great - friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything needed to enjoy our dining experience. PS - the corn bread yummy too!!

                                                                                                                                                    Nice server who tried her best to make things happen. It was really disappointing food. Eggs and grits bowl had a hockey puck of scrambled eggs over grits (which were good), fried green tomatoes benedict was just ok, crab Benedict served ice cold with a soggy untoasted English muffin that was returned to the kitchen along with biscuits and gravy that was also ice cold (both times it was served). We really looked forward to a meal that was underwhelming at best. The salt shaker was filthy and looked like it had never been cleaned....ever. We were a party of 4 but we were in the upstairs dining which we thought was probably the cause of cold food and influenced the quality of food and its delivery. Best of luck to Brittany our server who was sweet and so nice and did her best with the sub par kitchen.

                                                                                                                                                    Our food took forever for an order that required no cooking (deli sandwich and salad), the server was very kind about everything but it was just not a great experience.

Drinks were ok; not as flavorful as we hoped. Fried chicken was awesome and a huge serving. Smothered pork chops were perfect. Sides were good.
