International Women's Day Dinner

solo 8 mar 2025The incredibly talented female chefs and leaders of Newport Restaurant Group are teaming up to prepare a four-course dinner in celebration of achievements of women. Chef Jennifer Backman from Castle Hill Inn will start things off by preparing the first course, Chef Mariana Gonzalez from Bar ‘Cino and La Vecina will be creating the second course and Chef Marissa Lo from Boat House will be overseeing course three. Your dessert will be the creation of Chef Camille Murphy from Castle Hill Inn. Stephanie Steed, the wine director at 22 Bowens, will be pairing each course wines from wineries with female winemakers with each course. It’s a truly unique event that highlights the current and future achievements of women in our industry. The dinner is Saturday, March 8th at 6:30 pm at Waterman Grille in Providence. The cost is $110 per person, tax and gratuity included, with reservations available for tables of four and two. A portion of the proceeds will be going to Sojourner House, a Providence-based charity that helps those affected by domestic and sexual abuse. Space is limited.
