                                                                                      The staff was exceptional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable! Food was outstanding and they had a great wine selection. Staff recommended pecan pie for dessert-it was out of this world delicious. Would highly recommend West 29th. We will be back…..

                                                                                      My go to restaurant. The best burger always cooked to perfection. My only concern is that they seem to be consistently understaffed. Last night, Tuesday, was pretty full and only one dedicated server. She was great but no one person should be trying to server 10 to 12 tables at one time.

                                                                                      I had the Tiger Shrimp with Spinach Fettuccini and shared the Wedge salad with my husband. It was delicious! I also liked that the server offered to have the chef split it for us. Our server was extremely attentive. Also, we arrived 45 minutes before our reservation, knowing we would have to wait. The host seated us immediately at a table near the window, my favorite seating.

                                                                                      "29th" is a regular on our "dining rotation" cause it's just so comfortable and the food's so tasty. The pleasantly attentive staff work well as a team and Chef Cory keeps the food offerings enticing. The recent roasted cornish game hen was another example that was both a treat for the eye and the taste buds. Specials such as that are always a nice surprise. Looking forward to another return visit, especially as the weather turns cooler and the fireplace adds even more ambiance to the cozy dining room.

                                                                                      The food is always outstanding and the place has a comfortable, cozy environment. The service was lacking. After being seated, with water and breadsticks, we had to ask for a waitress after about 10 minutes. She brought drinks and we ordered. It took close to 30 minutes to get our food. Maybe they were short handed but there was no acknowledgment that service was very, very slow. I've been here numerous times and will go again, but there seemed to be indifference to how slow everything was.
