Step back in time to when going out for dinner meant something really special. From the decor to the jazz music, Wildfire has the style and warmth that makes it perfect for celebrating with friends or a quiet evening for two. The extensive menu features broiled steaks and chops, wood-roasted seafood and roasted meats, all prepared in an open kitchen. Signature dishes include Horseradish Crusted Filet Mignon, Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut, Wildfire Chopped Salad and Cedar Planked Salmon. We had a nice lunch at Wildfire on a Saturday. Fredrick was our server and was just great. The bus person and water person, etc... also did a good job. I am Celiac, so I'm gluten-free. I was able to have the special parmesan-crusted cod made gluten-free and it was so good. My husband always gets the blue cheese-encrusted filet and loves it. Vibe was quiet and calm. Our go-to special lunch spot.

My best friend and I “rang the bell” signifying the conclusion of our treatments for Breast Cancer. Our waitress gave us each a celebratory slice of flourless chocolate cake.

Our dinner was disappointing. The onion soup was flavorless, the ribs were so salty they were inedible, the salmon was dry and overcooked even though I ordered it medium rare, and the broccoli was so overcooked it was like mush. The service was not friendly. Usually we love this restaurant, but not this time. Hopefully this was aberrational, and we are willing to go at another try.

Used to be my all time favorite restaurant. When we first started going to Wildfire, my horseradish crusted fillet was $36. It’s now $58. I’m sure it was at least 20 years ago, but that is one outrageous increase in price. It prevents us from going to the restaurant more often than we do. Now if we go once a year, it’s just a special treat. We used to go a lot more often. However, times, Covid, etc. are all reasons we can’t go more often anymore. I do believe the prices are totally outrageous. So sad.
