Perfect weather for the quieter outdoor patio last night when we went to celebrate my birthday :). Delicious food, good service and a perfect evening--what more could we want?

We always have a great time here. My lower than usual rating is related to the dishes we ate. The poke should be cold. Not hit. Outing it against warm rice begins to cook the tuna. This is not correct. The shrimp dish was over cooked and the forbidden rice was too sweet. Otherwise we were very pleased with everything.

Wildflower has a Fish & Chips entre and it is served on a plate with cole slaw I advised the manager last time I was in this is a bad idea because the cole slaw juices run into the fish and chips which become soggy. I also wrote a description of this and presented it to another manager. Today I asked for a substitute from the cole slaw, a salad. Then, here comes my fish and chips with the salad on the plate with the fish and chips. I don't understand how a restaurant that is known to be so good can't get it!

The pork scallopine was excellent, as was the salmon, short ribs and spinach with chicken pappardelle. Great Calamari with arugula as an appetizer. The chocolate cake and banana toffee dessert were outstanding! The perfect end to a wonderful meal!

Had an early 4:30 dinner here last night. We were seated at a tiny 2 top table. We ordered 2 appetizers: muscles and grilled Artichokes. The muscles were good according to my husband, my artichoke was tough and woody, with only the small hearts edible. I then ordered a Tuna Poke bowl for my main course - it as very spicy but otherwise okay, unremarkable. My husband asked to see the menu again to order an entree and the waitress replied, “ oh, you’re ordering another entree?” - ( we had only ordered my one entree and the 2 appetizers. ) At that point we declined to order anything else, including the desserts she mentioned. Although we had been there well under an hour, we certainly felt encouraged to leave. We have been visiting Tucson for 3 weeks and heard this was a “ must eat” restaurant. I would pass on this place, so many other great spots in the city.
