Wildflower, flagship restaurant for Fox Restaurant Concepts, raised the culinary bar when it opened in Tucson in 1998. To this day, it continues to set the standard for innovative New American Cuisine featuring a melting pot of American classics with European and Asian influences. If that’s not enough, the restaurant offers 80 wines by the bottle and 25 by the glass – an excellent range for both the wine connoisseur and the novice.

Disappointing lunch. We had reservations for 1 pm and were seated on time. We were not able to leave until almost 2:30. The couple next to us arrived after we did and were finished and leaving by the time we finally got our meal. We ordered chicken sandwiches and some vegetables. The food was fine. Not happy to sit and wait and wait.

We had a delightful lunch on the front patio. Our server was very attentive and the food was layered with flavour. Highly recommend.

We a wonderful dinner last night at Wildflower. The food was outstanding--beet salad, roast chicken and shrimp and avocado bowl. Our waitress, Naomi, is top-notch. She was very attentive and brought our orders out in a timely manner and checked to make sure we were well taken care of during the entire dinner. We ate on the outside patio which is always delightful and lends itself to lingering over quiet conversation. We have been many times to Wildflower and, once again, it didn't disappoint. We have already made a reservation for a return visit in early May when we will go with friends and introduce them to this special restaurant---one of our favorites in Oro Valley.

A lovely setting with a talented kitchen and earnest staff! My wife and I have entertained 2 separate couples from out-of-state recently and all of the choices were winners. And one must try the grilled artichoke! Brit waited on us last Saturday and was charming. We shall return!

Wildflower has an excellent menu with broad selections prepared and presented very, very well. Bread, salads, and appetizers are excellent. Salads a sufficiently large to split, and nicely dressed, not drowned. Entrees (tonight, roasted chicken and lemongrass scallops) are nicely portioned leaving us full, but not stuffed, and very flavorful. The wine list is extensive, but not deep. We prefer bold California cabs, of which there are only a couple of what we'd categorize as affordable options. Our server, Brittany, was attentive, but not overwhelming. Our orders were taken promptly, as were the served courses. We chose to sit inside on a cool Tucson evening, and while the temperature was comfortable, the noise level is substantial. It was difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices. We love Wildflower and its offerings and would recommend it for anyone who is seeking a unique dining experience.

We had a fantastic birthday celebration dinner at Wildflower. Our server, Roy, was outstanding. He made great recommendations as needed. We had two pastas, the artichoke and Brussels sprouts appetizers, two gorgeous salads, loved it all. Desserts were fabulous. The atmosphere is lively and friendly. We needed a somewhat quieter table than in the main area and we were cheerfully seated in a banquette toward the back which was perfect. Thrilled with the experience, the amazing food? And the excellent service!

Although the ambience is fair, the customer noise is overwhelming- The Shrimp and Avocado Bowl was smothered with Couscous in a too sweetened sauce that interfered with the taste. That offering could be renamed “Bowl of Couscous with few Shrimp and Avocado”
