Jeb and Joseph were the dream team for service and the food was absolutely delicious. Great flavors! From starters to dessert, everything was on point and earned a definite return.

The steak (prime new york) was legitimately terrible, for any price let alone Spago's. The sauce paired with the steak could nicely be called "homemade A1" and the steak itself was drier than the sahara. The sushi was about the only hit (along with the bread). Everything thing else was serviceable to middling for a restaurant of that caliber and price. The service was great but could not overcome the quality of food. There's plenty of restaurants with good service and amazing views in Maui that have much better food and better prices. Extremely disappointing.

We had an amazing meal at Spago last night! The freshest fish available prepared by an amazing chef! Service was outstanding.

Although the ambiance and food quality were nice, it's hard to justify $300 for a meal without alcohol. The server's assistant was attentive, but our primary server was busy with other tables and only appeared at our table a couple of times. We probably won't be back, as the value or exceptional food quality wasn't there.
