Prezzo sopra la media per servizio, misero per un ristorante a New York, e personale, spocchioso, stucchevole e solo alla ricerca della mancia, estorta senza merito!!

As soon as we walked in it was smoky. And was noticeable throughout our meal. Other than that, noise level was great and we were able to hear each other talk. The food was exceptional, as always, and the service was great. We brought a friend for her birthday and I asked the Maitre'd to please put a candle in whatever dessert we ordered...but I guess she never told our waiter. When we left, she was sitting at the bar?!?

I recently dined at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse on 54th Street, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The service was mediocre at best. After our food was served, the waiter vanished, only reappearing when it was time to bring the check. I ordered the ribeye steak cooked rare, which was a disappointment. The steak was excessively fatty, with minimal seasoning, resulting in a bland and uninspiring taste. Given Wolfgang’s reputation, I expected much better quality and flavor. It’s clear that this restaurant is past its prime. While it may have once been a go-to spot for steak lovers, the overall experience—from lackluster service to underwhelming food—falls short of the standard you’d expect for the price point. I wouldn’t recommend it for those seeking a standout steakhouse experience in NYC.

Keine Auswahl der Fleischgröße möglich (zB Ladies Cut). Daher muss jeder sehr teure groß Portion wählen. Gemütlichkeit fehlt. Fleisch ist zwar gut. Essen insgesamt ok. Aber man wird „durchgetrieben“. Es reicht schlecht im Lokal und es stellt sich keinerlei Gemütlichkeit ein. Preise extrem hoch. Filet Mignon z.B. 75 Dollar. Beilage mind. 16. Dollar. Sprudelwasser 12 Dollar und es wird ungefragt nachgeschenkt obwohl wir nach der zweiten Flasche gebeten hatten nicht mehr nachzuschenken. Hat leicht was von Touriabzocke. Schade.

This was for New Years Eve - it was oddly quiet there was no background music. People on the other tables mentioned the same. I ate at other Wolfgang locations and the quality of the food has always been great however this location did not align! The steak was tasteless, the lobster mac and cheese was watery and fresh! This location was horrible, we did not finish our food! 0 value for money spent!

The place was empty yet the waiter kept pushing for our order as is the place was packed. It was 70% empty and now I know why. The tomatoes were over ripe and ruined the dish. The German potatoes not cooked through. Thankfully the steak for 2 was very good. The experience was underwhelming for a steakhouse in NYC. Will not come back. Lesson learned but please don’t waste your time, money or that NYC experience.

At a restaurant of this caliber you shouldn’t have to send your steak back to make it medium rare. Came out close to raw and some pieces had a cold center. Plus. In repacking to take home believe we don’t get both t bones. Disappointing.
