All around fabulous! Never disappoints and was a perfect evening of great food, great wine, and amazing service for my husband’s birthday.

This is our second visit in two months. We really enjoy the casual elegance of the building itself. Such nice, warm interior setting. The food is beyond compare. The depth of flavors are intense from the starter of roasted brussels sprouts to the scrumptuous day boat scallops on cheese risotto, boom! The sticky date cake was off the hook, rich. Go now!

It was a cold day and for some reason they kept the back door open. It was freezing in the dining room. Good service, excellent food, CLOSE THE DOOR!

My friend and I really enjoy this restaurant. The menu changes regularly which is nice. The wait staff are very helpful. We are big about sharing so the wait staff splits our mains for easy eating. We will be back soon.

High quality food with just a couple misses for us. We ordered pork chop. Great flavor. Slightly overdone but I’d order again. Also ordered the chicken. Wayyyy too much rosemary. It overpowered the dish. I wouldn’t order again. The hit for us was the butcher block. What I didn’t like and why I probably wouldn’t go back: 1) service. First off I asked our server how often they updated the menu online because I wasn’t seeing the same things on the menu. He said he didn’t know. Ok if you’re a server at a place like this you’d better know something like that. As it turns out I think I was viewing the menu on another website and it was a couple mos old. But the fact that he didn’t know just bugged us. Other than that I’d say the service overall was lacking. I don’t think our waiter ever came to check on us. 2) the amount of food you get is ridiculous. Nobody needs to eat a half chicken for dinner. The pork chop as well was massive. We ate half of our entrees so it was a big waste of not just food but money. This is the biggest reason I wouldn’t go back. And we’re eaters! This is a popular restaurant with a big following. They’ve been in business for 18 yrs so they’re clearly doing something right. But in today’s world when everything is so expensive and there are a lot of great restaurants to choose from, I’m going to be picky. If the service had been stellar I could overlook the shortcomings of the food and would try again. When you’re in the service industry you have to nail it. Otherwise people will move on.
