From the kitchen to the bar, everything we serve is defined by a passion for exploring unique flavor combinations. Wood is more than a name: our wood-fired oven is at the heart of it all, enhancing a dynamic menu of small-plate, American fare, made with the peak midwest farm produce each season has to offer. Though the dishes regularly change, they are defined by a few constants: meat is butchered in-house from humanely-raised animals; vegetables are drawn from local family farms; and all pastas and sausages are freshly made. Lead by our talented Executive Chef Devin Kreller, who is a 6-time Michelin Bib Gourmand winner, Chef Devin uses French-dominated cooking techniques combined with multicultural inspirations such as Asian and Italian to create new dishes.

There was a pricey hold put on my card for cancellation of the reservation. We went in for lunch following a nearby show. There was no one there but us… there was a limited lunch menu and food was good. They accommodated for a child’s meal option. Something in the air made us all have scratchy throats. It worked as a meal option, but I’m not sure we’d go back.

Everything was so fantastic last night at Wood! Our service was amazing (Whoever was our server I don’t remember your name and I’m sorry but you were great!) , everything came out perfect and a lot faster than usual. Not sure if it’s the new chef but by far the best experience I’ve ever had there and we’ve been coming to this place consistently for 4 years now

Excellent food, but noise level was terrible. Also, the seating arrangement for six people was not very comfortable, making it very difficult to hear those across the table from. The service was also excellent.

We were here for a birthday dinner and had a lovely time. The service was excellent with a server who had humor and was attentive. The menu is very interesting offering a wode variety of choices and take on trditional dishes like the Garrsoulet I had, a take off of Cassoulet of course. The Lardo and Tomato toast appetizer was delicous and everyones meal was excellent. The prices are on the high side but we were satisfied. I also reccomment the steak tartare and the burger. The atmosphere is elegant but casual and lovely.
