Yoshi's has served Japan's best traditional dishes to Bay Area patrons since 1972. The menu highlights artfully arranged sushi, fresh grilled seafood, classic Japanese dishes, and vegetarian fare. Patrons can kick off their shoes in the traditional Japanese tatami seating or dine at tables. Expert sushi chefs create sushi and sashimi to order either in the restaurant or in the jazz house. Start the evening in the cocktail lounge before dinner or have a nightcap after taking in a show in the jazz house.

Thank you for celebrating the New Year with us! Our chefs Victor Reyes and Lolo Gonzalez have created an elaborate and delicious 5-course prix fixe menu. I have dined at Yoshi's at least 100 times over the years. I usually stick to the more traditional Japanese food. Last night, I had the Pork chop. It was the best pork chop I ever tasted. Well Done!

We had the most rude waitress . She had to be the most insecure woman, for one her make up was as if she was in a chola movie and tried to be HARD w us. She was hateful and the food was horrible . I couldn’t get her attention at all . I think my drink was made to make me sick. I had a Long Island $20 bucks ea I bought one for my friend it was his bday $40 for 2 drinks. I took 2 sips n I was sick as a dog. 2 two appetizers two drinks and they came to $130. I was so frustrated. It was horrible service horrible food. I’ll never go back.. I heard good things about it too

Great food, great service and a pretty room. Yoshis is perfect for fancy date night or a big party with family and friends.

Food was acceptable, just wish there were more vegan options. I had the veggie fritter which was very good. I just prefer to have non-fried foods. There was a veggie wrap that looked good, but it had shiitake mushrooms. Not sure if that’s the only type of mushrooms this restaurant has. I will have to inquire next time. Overall this restaurant was nice.

First time eating here. Had a great server, Robin, who was very attentive and made great suggestions . Food was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant. I’ll be going back again, real soon!

It’s always a pleasure going to a concert and having dinner I have never had any incidents. Very nice atmosphere.
