The zibibbo grape, also known as Muscat of Alexandra. It is considered an “ancient vine” and some wine experts believe it is one of the oldest genetically unmodified vines still in existence. This vine made it’s way to Italy in 1773 from the arabic nations where the name was zibibb. Italy had the perfect climent and rich soil for the vine. This made italy a recognizable country in wine making. Zibibbo73 Ristorante & Raw Bar in Stafford, VA. brings a taste of the old world cuisine in a modern setting, to our area.     We have been to Zibibbo many times and it is hands down our favorite Italian restaurant in Stafford. We have two go-to dining spots in Stafford that have never let us down and this is one of them.

    My lightly breaded chicken was burnt and the tried to hide it under the arugula! What type of chef allows burnt food to leave its kitchen and served to paying customers. Overall value and experience was not good.

    All of the food we tried was great! What a nice surprise at a strip mall. Great service as well.

    Zibibbo was again consistently good! This is the place we consider our neighborhood restaurant, as it is the one we can rely on for a solid meal. We had the diavola pizza, a lasagna, and the linguini with clams and they were all excellent. Their grilled octopus with lemon was on point!

    Excellent food and drink menu. The vegetable risotto with shrimp was excellent, as well as the Caesar salad with anchovies. I highly recommend the old fashion, also. We will be back on our next trip to DC.
