A New York Style Parisian Bistro. A 4000 sq, foot restaurant that is designed with contemporary sensibilities, yet returns the nostalgic ambiance of an authentic Parisian bistro. Round marble bistro tables and wicker chairs spill out onto the sidewalk, offering a kind of people watching one might indulge in, along Boulevard Saint-Germain. Zinc Bistro also offer a romantic garden patio secluded deep in the restaurant, lit by candles during the evening, creating an unforgettable ambiance, or a relaxing atmosphere near our fountain in the afternoon. The oyster bar stands at the end of the 25 foot zinc bar, serving fruit de mer platters, as well as all of the accoutrements. We bring in shellfish daily, offering the freshest oysters, clams, mussels, and lobster in the desert.

                                                                                          We have been going to this restaurant for years but something has changed. This week on our valentine/ birthday celebration we were VERY DISAPPOINTED! We arrived 10 min early and were seated outside. We immediately placed our order for 2 salads, one side of risotto and an order of Mussels. For one of the salads, we asked the waitress if the chef could prepare lemon juice & olive oil for the dressing (due to a vinegar allergy). While the chef accommodated our request the waitress chided us for the request and said the chef would “only do it this one time - never to ask again”. Note that one of the requested salads was ordered incorrectly (by the waitress) though we did not ask them to change it. Another hour passed before our risotto side and mussels arrived. Seriously, for what could have been a very simple evening, it turned into a total disappointment. Three other tables around us had been served and had paid prior to our main entrees arriving. We overheard them being compensated with free drinks and desserts due to the SLOW SERVICE! The waitress clearly had too many tables to provide good customer service and to be chided for a change in a salad dressing seems a pity. I honestly WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Zinc Bistro going forward.

                                                                                          The food was delicious. The hostess wasn’t as friendly but Meghan, our server, was friendly, efficient without hovering, and made great recommendations.
